InductForge ("we") collects the personal data in the induction form to assess your suitability to work, keep you safe on site, and meet our legal health & safety and right-to-work obligations.
What we collect: your identity and contact details, address, emergency contact, role and trade, qualifications and card details, health/wellbeing information you provide, uploaded documents and a photo, and your answers and declarations.
Why (lawful bases): performance of a contract and taking steps before it; compliance with legal obligations (health & safety, right to work); and our legitimate interests in running a safe, competent workforce. Health data is processed for employment, health & safety and occupational-health purposes.
How long we keep it: only as long as necessary — typically the duration of your engagement plus the periods required by law (for example, right-to-work evidence is retained for your employment plus two years), after which it is securely deleted.
Your rights: you can ask to access, correct, delete or restrict your data, or object to processing. Contact us using the details below. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
InductForge uses only functional browser storage — to auto-save your progress on this device, remember your language and accessibility preferences, and keep the app working offline. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not run third-party analytics. Because this storage is strictly necessary to provide features you ask for, it does not require a consent banner; you can clear it any time from your browser, or with "Start over" in the form.
The health and wellbeing information you provide is "special-category" data under UK GDPR. We process it only for health, safety and occupational-health purposes — to keep you safe on site and meet our duties — with your explicit consent, and we keep it confidential and access-restricted.
To run the Service we may use: a UK/EU database and file store (Supabase), an email/form service (Formspree), web fonts (Google Fonts), a postcode lookup (postcodes.io), a QR-code image service for site passes, and your chosen messaging webhook (Slack/Teams). Each only receives the data needed for its function.
We have zero tolerance for modern slavery, forced or compulsory labour and human trafficking. All work with us is freely chosen and fairly paid, and you keep your own identity documents. If you ever feel forced to work, or are aware of exploitation on site, report it immediately and in confidence to a manager.
We do not offer, give, request or accept bribes, kickbacks or improper payments of any kind. Gifts and hospitality must be reasonable and declared. Any attempt to influence a decision improperly must be reported to management.
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. The induction works with a keyboard and screen readers, offers larger-text, high-contrast and read-aloud options, and is available in English, Polish, Romanian and Lithuanian. If you hit a barrier, contact us using the details below and we'll help.
